Smarter SEND Solutions
Lumipodd is a new sub-brand from High Ground, a long-established garden design company with over 750 gardens completed over the past 15 years. As part of a wider rebrand across their business, High Ground split out their core services into three distinct offerings — gardening services ("I Begg Your Garden"), decking ("What The Dekk!"), and garden pods ("Oh My Podd!"). Tide was brought in on a retained basis to support every creative and marketing need across these new identities.
For the education sector specifically, their pod product line needed its own bold new identity — Lumipodd was the answer. Designed to target schools and the educational sector, Lumipodd’s mission is to deliver smart, well-designed outdoor spaces tailored to support SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). The brand needed to communicate clarity, care, and innovation, while standing out visually in a typically conservative market.
Tide created a fresh, engaging brand identity for Lumipodd — a confident contrast of bold pink and deep navy — to reflect warmth, accessibility, and credibility in one package. We followed this up with a custom-designed WordPress website, with a full CMS to allow the Lumipodd team full control over their content. The site clearly outlines the various pod designs and their unique benefits for SEND needs. Integration with Calendly and Typeform allows potential customers to easily book meetings and supply key information in advance — ensuring conversations are focused, helpful, and productive from the start.
Another core aspect of the project involved guiding schools through the application process for SEND-specific funding. With £740 million allocated by the UK government to support these needs, Lumipodd’s goal is to help schools secure funding for these transformative spaces.
The entire project was delivered at pace — prompted by a last-minute opportunity to exhibit at a major education expo. In just a few short days, Tide not only launched the Lumipodd brand and website, but also produced a full suite of event assets, including:
- Digital Typeform surveys for on-stand iPads
- Custom stand design with integrated coffee bar
- Staff t-shirts, caps, and aprons
- Pull-up banners and promotional signage
The event was a standout success, generating high-quality leads and interest from educational decision-makers. We also supported Lumipodd post-event, producing beautifully branded proposal documents for follow-up quotes and funding proposals. With Lumipodd now firmly on the map, Tide continues to support High Ground across their growing brand family — helping them communicate their values, innovate in their sector, and grow with confidence.

Approach
1
Understanding the Clients Needs
This project came with a fair amount of pressure! The client had secured a stand at a major education event, just two weeks away. In that time, we needed to create a complete brand identity, design and build a new website, produce all supporting print materials, and deliver a full exhibition stand.
2
Careful Planning
While we always aim for thorough planning, the two-week deadline meant much of this project had to be designed and delivered in real time. We worked at speed, sharing concepts with the client as they were developed, making swift decisions together to keep the project moving.
3
Choosing the Right Tech
As part of the I Begg Your Garden family of brands, LumiPodd was to benefit from the recently developed WordPress style we had created for the group. We adapted this framework to suit LumiPodd’s new identity, saving valuable time on design and build.
4
Working With External Suppliers
With multiple external partners involved, from stand fabricators and print houses to branded clothing suppliers, careful coordination was essential. We managed timelines, specifications, and quality checks to ensure every item was produced to standard and delivered on time.
5
Coordination of Delivery
Once all print and display elements were complete, we supported the client with the complex logistics of getting everything to the exhibition on time. Materials were spread across Bournemouth, Birmingham, and London, all needing to arrive together for the event build in the capital.
6
Testing & Optimisation
In the final sprint before launch, we worked closely with the client to test every element of the site. This included seamless integrations with Calendly and Typeform, enabling easy meeting bookings directly from the event.
Challenges
Urgent Deadlines
This was one the most time-critical project that we’ve ever tackled! We delivered a new brand, website, event stand, and full suite of supporting materials in just two weeks.
Quality at Speed
With a freshly defined brand, complete with specific colourways, typography, and design rules, we had to ensure that every supplier delivered on time and with consistency. This was no small task, especially when working with suppliers whom we were working for the first time.
Managing Diary Availability
We integrated Calendly to open the client’s diary for event bookings — without knowing how much demand to expect. Part of the challenge was actively monitoring uptake and adjusting availability in real time to ensure there was enough space to meet interest without overcommitting.
