A Bright Rebrand for a Bold New Chapter

In a sector often dominated by corporate blue and grey, Neon Secure Access felt that it was time to stand out. Their product — a cutting-edge, fully customisable door entry system — deserved a bold new look that reflected their innovation, flexibility and ambition. That’s where we came in.

Tide began by completely reimagining the brand, starting with the name itself: Neon. This was our signal to break with tradition and inject energy, personality, and colour into everything from the logo to the messaging. The existing logo was kept in structure to preserve brand recognition but updated with a vibrant colour palette. We went bold pink, a confident and eye-catching departure that instantly turns heads.

But the transformation went beyond the visuals. One of Neon’s original product documents likened their door entry system to a chameleon — able to adapt to any environment. We saw a huge opportunity in this metaphor. So we made chameleons the central brand characters, featured across digital and print. It wasn’t just a nod to product versatility — it became a visual shorthand for adaptability, innovation, and transformation.

This idea also powered our social campaign. With the new pink background as our visual foundation, we launched a series of teaser posts featuring different chameleons with one simple message: “Change is coming” #weareneon

The campaign built real intrigue, created buzz, and reinforced the brand message — Neon was about to disrupt the market. The website soon followed. Built in WordPress, it gives Neon full control of their content moving forward. We showcased their product range in a clear, structured layout with key specs, usage details and downloads.

For the first time, customers can now order handsets online, both audio and video, using the new WooCommerce-powered shop. This functionality is a real win for contractors and engineers on-site who need to order replacement or extra handsets quickly, without waiting on traditional account processes.

In addition to the site, we completely redesigned all of Neon’s printed collateral. This included business cards, letterheads, datasheets, a holding folder, product catalogue and a new user manual. Every piece was designed to reflect the new brand energy, using clean layouts, sharp typography and that unmistakable pink as a consistent design thread.

Looking ahead, Phase Two of the site is already in the works. We’re currently designing an animated system configurator — an interactive tool that will allow users to drag and drop different system components and build their ideal door entry system in real-time. Once configured, the system will generate a full specification, automatically sent to Neon for quoting. It's smart, visual, and totally user-friendly.

Neon Secure Access now has a brand that truly reflects its name: bright, agile and ahead of the curve. We’re proud to have helped bring that transformation to life — one boldly coloured chameleon at a time.

Approach

1

Understanding the Clients Needs

Through a series of scoping and discovery meetings, we developed a clear brief: create a bold, contemporary website that truly reflected the company name and ambition.

2

Careful Planning

Planning is essential for any build. For Neon, we created a sitemap, user flows, and detailed Figma mockups that captured our bold design vision, providing clear direction for the development phase.

3

Choosing the Right Tech

Neon’s existing site was built in WordPress using the dated and slow WP Bakery editor. We recommended a fresh WordPress build with a full CMS and bespoke customisation, giving the client complete control and flexibility to update content with ease.

4

Lead Tracking and Management

An important part of the extended brief was to integrate the site with a CRM to effectively filter and manage new opportunities. The site needed to be bold in design but also work hard as a lead-generation tool.

5

Data Migration and Link Audit

We carried out a full audit of all existing indexed links to ensure nothing was lost in the transition, while efficiently migrating all essential legacy data for a seamless handover.

6

Testing & Optimisation

Before launch, we worked closely with the client to conduct rigorous testing, ensuring the site was fully optimised across all platforms and met high performance standards. We also provided comprehensive training so the team could confidently use the new CMS.

Challenges

Sticking to the Plan

The Neon Door Entry System is both simple and fully customisable. The challenge was effectively communicating its unique versatility and ease of configuration, as there’s nothing else quite like it on the market.

Bright Colours and Accessibility

Creating a bold, vibrant design while maintaining full accessibility compliance was a delicate balance, ensuring the site looked vibrant without compromising usability.

Hosting Solution

We provided full hosting for the Neon website, delivering a WordPress-optimised, scalable solution with ample capacity to meet their growing needs.
